    Ski Jumping

    All major ski Jumping competitions are organised by the International Ski Federation. The style of jump and the distance reached are critical factors in judging the event. Each judge gives a score of up to 20 points. Women’s Ski jumping started in the 90’s and has gained rapid popularity. Sara Takanashi is the most successful female jumper to date. The largest ramps built for the event are the Large Hill and the Ski Flying Hill. Recent Notable jumpers are Kazayoshi Funaki, Japan and Peter Prec, Slovenia.
